Irina has traveled the world looking for purpose; looking for means to grow, embrace her authenticity and be of service.
Born on the Black Sea coast, Irina left her mother country in her twenties, in search for a better future for herself and her baby son. She stopped in Belgium for a few years, long enough to gather her courage and language skills, before taking the “big leap of faith”, as she calls her move to Canada.
The challenges were many and she quickly learned that health is the greatest asset in life. Thus started her keen interest in finding the most efficient ways of reaching and sustaining ideal health, wellbeing and longevity, while living in the fast pace of modern society.
Now, in her work with clients, she draws upon the wisdom of ancient traditions and uses elements of yoga and embodied mindfulness, breath and energy work, Ayurveda and Qi Gong, along with fundaments of nutrition.
Irina has partnered with Dr. Harry Zeit in founding and co-facilitating the Caring For Self While Caring For Others Series, and the Creating Safety clinical groups.
Irina has graduated from two yoga teacher training programs, at the Yoga Sanctuary in Toronto (2007) and at the Yoga Therapy Toronto (2009).
She’s also a certified health coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York (2015).
Irina is fluent in English, French and Romanian.
